Product Features

The working temperature of the thermal insulation strip is 220°C, Melting Point reaches to 246°C. This enables coating process after assembly of composite profiles; High mechanical strength, able to connect with metal hardware fittings when bearing draw and shear stress; Excellent product tolerance of less than 0.1mm, ensuring air and water tightness and overall composite profile dimensions; High corrosion-resistance, weather-resistance, heat-resistance, alkali-resistance and long life of usage; The thermal expansion coefficient of PA66GF25 is similar to aluminum thus ensures that product does not affect the integrity of the thermally insulated aluminum profiles; Precisely dimension ensures the lifespan of aluminum extrusion tools, no danger of bending cracks during rolling, very good knurling effect at the hammer head and easy to assemble. Storage Conditions

      It is suggested that the product be stored in the ventilated and dry environment, horizontally placed, paying attention to waterproof, keeping away from the heat source, avoiding heavy pressure and the contact with acid, alkali as well as organic solvent.

Methods of distinguishing between the authentic and fake thermal barrier strips

      In view of sophisticated international thermal barrier strip market, some adopt common plastic of non-structure materials such as ABS, PP, even PVC to replace the engineering plastic to make the so-called thermal barrier strip. One method of easily distinguishing between the real and fake thermal barrier strip is hereby provided:

      Put the thermal barrier strips make of PVC, ABS, PP, PA6 (nylon6), PA66 and other materials into the oven and heat up. Those Softening and degradation occur around 90°C are PVC materials; those around 160°C are PP materials and ABS materials, those around 210°C are PA6 materials, however when the temperature of the thermal barrier strip made of PA66 materials if under 240°C, there is no obvious change on the appearance.

      In short, the quality of thermal barrier strip is the one without any obvious change on the appearance under the high temperature between 210°C - 240°C.
